Shaving cream painting

Before Addilyn's bath tonight, we thought we would try a little shaving cream painting. Let me tell you, it was a hit. This was her first time playing with shaving cream and it will not be the last. She immediately picked up the paint brush and started creating with the puffy, colorful cream. I like doing activities that inspire creativity and exploration. One thing I have noticed, Addilyn does not like getting her hands too dirty. With this activity, she preferred using the paint brush over her hands. There have been other activities where she has expressed a slight dislike of messy hands. She must get this from me. I think I wash my hands a little too much.
